Morning Brew - Create a Stockpile of 200 Drinksįun - Lose a fortress within the first month Whenever you finish a task, take a screenshot, tell us a little tale about it and link the report screenshot in your report card!Ĭopy and make a new post with it that will be used as your continually updated report card (bookmark it for easy access): Everyone starts with it.Ģ50 points - I played Dwarf Fortress and all I got was this lousy tagĦ00 points - I lived through Catsplosion to tell the tale You can choose to take "Carp" as your first tag if you want. Whenever you want to change your ResetEra tag to a new tag, post it in the thread and add Toma, I will collect the tag changes and send them to the mods so they dont get a million requests per day. You can unlock tags, at certain point thresholds and for monthly challenges. List of all Achievement Hunters & Ranking can a visitor come into my fortress already infected and tear everything up?ĭF will get achievements at some point, but that doesnt mean we cant have some fun here! The mods are allowing custom user tags for DF achievement hunters, so read the rules and have fun! :) What the fuck is a weredonkey anyway and how were they infected. There are very few dwarfs alive, some are zombies now (turned blue and shit?) and I've already got a couple of ghosts haunting the place.Ĭool stuff, time to abandon the fortress. the miasma from every dead body started to go up and down the fortress levels and a couple of dwarfs went mad from it, I could only laugh as an entire fortress collapsed right before my eyes. I had lost around 20+ people to 2 weredonkeys.Ī couple of days later, it seemed like a couple of people at my hospital were infected (as a new player I didn't even think about that) and killed a bunch more dwarfs. My squad was able to kill it but the death count was pretty fucking incredible. then I got an alert saying that someone turned into a weredonkey and destroyed everyone at the tavern at the time. The first fortress was going kind of well, for a few years. So, first time playing this, and since I love games like RimWorld it felt only right to try this one after all I've heard about it for years. Bins and barrels were available, I think.ģ) Best ways to clean up the floor/ organize stockpiles? Rocks just pile up everywhere, but I don't know if it's possible to stack them for increased density.Ĥ) If I retire the fortress but continue in the same world, will it continue to evolve without me?ĥ) How quickly will that river flood the fortress? Hypothetical, of course. I quickly stopped the tunnel to see how trading worked.ġ) How the heck does trading work? I figured out how to bring some bins to the trade depot (no clue what's in them), but don't know how to select what to get in return.Ģ) How does the kitchen work? Without farming most of my food was scavenged plants, but all the kitchen jobs would cancel saying they needed non-spoiled plants. When my miners were three blocks away, the caravan showed up. I planned to dig toward the nearby river to see how flooding works, you know, for better understanding in the future. Stone floors all around, some even popping through to the surface. Opening up the guide, it helpfully reminds you that farms need soil, and that one level down should be good. I kept meaning to get to it, but it wasn't until late summer that I realized my food stocks were dwindling. At the end it refers you to the "Help" button, and I saw there was a tutorial on farming. The game started by having the tutorial screw me over, though I wouldn't find that out for a while. Do I have the time to play this? Not really.
